Hello my lovelies, how is everyone doing?
First of all, let me apologise for posting late this week. Oh my gosh! What a week it was for me. Everything was going quiet well for starters; I was taking my photo shoots as I usually do during the week, hoping to post on Saturday. That was when disaster struck with its usual precision, direct on point! As we were editing the photos, we accidentally deleted and lost most of them irretrievably! I went straight into distress mode but I quickly pulled myself together and said ~too blessed to be stressed~

Listen guys, to get one complete set of photos, you have to choose your location, the outfit, accessories, the makeup and of course the right attitude -  hahaha. I did that for three separate shoots and those were all the photos I lost. But as I said, it was taken all within my stride, and I moved on! My advice in this sort of situation is to take a few deep breaths, relax, smile and remind yourself of your numerous blessings  and just pick a new date, place and time for your make up photo shoot! Embrace your every circumstance with a positive attitude; because you know what, it’s not that serious! By the way, if you are around Toronto let me hear your shout out to the beautiful sunny day we have today.

I am going on a trip this evening but I still have to organize my home and make sure my boys are well taken care of in my absence, pack, redo the photo shoot, write this blog, edit and post. That is the life of a diva!

Ok moving over to this Amish Style Dress,
I have had this outfit for quite a while back - almost 18 years ago- when Victoria’s Secrets sold clothes. I am not certain they still do. But anyways, I decided to launch it because of its delicate and warm FALL colors. Hahaha, I told you to save your good clothes, I am available for consultation if you’re not sure how to style it. Just drop a line to Kartia and I will give you some fashion tips! Be careful here though because you can only try this with classic cut clothes that do not necessarily date.
I wore it with the newest trends fringe long sweater jacket, ankle lace up shoes, latest flavour Gucci scarf,  Gucci purse and these equally trendy mirror sun-glasses

.When you go down memory lane to resurrect an old outfit, always accessorize with the latest trends in fashion with shoes, jewelry, purse, scarf etc. This immediately teleports ‘the look’ into the present day fashion

Have a Fabulous Thanksgiving my Fellow Canadians, and thank you all for reading

It took me a while to get on board with the ankle boot (or bootie) trend, mostly because I felt like they made women’s feet look chunky,or because I  have calves. or feels like my leg is  cut off   right above the ankle, making my ankles look wide. Who knows what happened , HeHehe… I just saw too many bloggers looking fabulous in them that I could no longer resist? I don’t know. But now I own six plus my previous one from over 10 years ago.  Also along the way, I’ve discovered a few ways to wear them so they are flattering and don’t make me look like I have fat ankles .
Stay connected to the next post Coming up over the weekend.

There are so many fun ones out there: wedge, heel, flat, cut-out, laced, buckled, frills, clogs. and the list could go on. And they’re so big for fall — you really should own a pair. Don’t be afraid  to be stylish, so I choose this ones that are very affordable. (under $50)Click through them,
some great ways to wear your booties, 1. skinny jeans. 2, leggings, 3 boy friends jeans . 4.skirts, 5 dresses  are  a few tips to keep your legs looking slim and fabulous, even with a shoe that doesn’t inherently flatter.
And remember, you don’t need these exact pairs to create great outfits — use these outfits as inspiration to wear your ankle boots well, no matter what style they are!

Thank you for reading and sure stay connected.

Hello beautiful people. How are you all doing? Welcome back and welcome to the fabulous months of FALL. It stirs me spiritually as I stare out the window at the wonder of the Creator regenerating the earth, I see the leaves preparing for their yearly coming of age ritual as they turn orange and then yellow, break off and then flutter to the ground in their last act of surrender to the will of the almighty for them…..Amazing!I want to quickly share an experience from my gym a few days ago. I saw this lady in the dressing room that looked about a size two and according to her, weighed about 102lbs. We got talking and she pulled off her waist trimmer and turned her back to me wanting to know if I could detect any folds in her mid-section, and to which I said ‘no’. I spent the next five minutes reassuring this ‘perfectly skinny’ woman that she looked ‘perfect’. I couldn’t fathom this woman but the experience left me quite unsettled and with the realization that for some people their mind’s image of how they look or should look, is quite different from reality!

Now about this week’s outfit. It’s quiet exciting to talk about this look. I pulled out this orange off-the-shoulder sweater dress, just so perfect for the FALL season. I paired it with these super comfy skin pumps that I’ve had for quiet sometime. I choose not to wear boots because I think it’s a little too early. But no worries, we’ll get to Boots Fashion soon enough. Hello let's talk presentation. I knew that I had to style this and add some of my personal flair, so I did just that. The fur throw was just the perfect embellishment for this already perfect outfit. I can 1. Wrap it around my waist; 2. Drape it around my neck; 3. Drape it on my shoulder; 4. Drape it on my purse; or 5. Just wear it in any other place that pleases my fancy. Wow………that’s 5. W.A.Y.S T.O R.O.C.K F.U.R W.R.A.P!and finished the look with that cow boy hat.

The other amazing thing about this dress is that it can be worn in a gazillion other ways…... on the shoulder, off the shoulder; with the sleeves extended or bunched up, whatever you please.I have not yet said much about hair brooches as styling ornaments but here we go with this hair brooch. Since in my diva opinion this dress does not require a necklace, I used my hair brooch to enhance the beauty of it. Don’t you love the long sleeves of this dress?
My 15 year is the photographer of this architect of shoots. It was raining cats and dogs and even as he was taking the shots it was still drizzling but he aced it.Thank you guys for your time and feel free to bring up any questions about style and fashion

Hello and welcome back my darlings.  Are you around Toronto? Let me hear your shout out to
-still in summer weather- yeeh! This is unbelievable. We are still wearing shorts and summer dresses. Let’s hope winter will not make us pay for all this good weather.

I went to watch my oldest son play football in school this week. As you know I am a mother of three boys and a football mom as they all play. At the end of the victory game, my son introduced me to some of his team mates. They were so tickled and couldn’t believe I was old enough to be his mom. I was all dressed down in my skinny ripped jeans and a hat. I totally aced it, looking the part of the cool and trendy soccer mom. It was great fun!!

So this week I decided to talk shoes people. After my birthday post,(here) I received some personal messages wanting to know about my shoes. Well the truth of the matter is that I just love shoes (more than I love clothes perhaps) but I am still a bargain hunter. Typically, I go for what I like but at bargain prices. I usually don’t shop ‘New Arrivals’ and I target lots of off seasons goodies for the coming season.

We have a very small window of opportunity to make a first impression. Once people meet you, they assess your face, smile, grooming, shoes, the overall outfit before rounding back to the face.
Your shoes say a lot about you. Are you well groomed? Do you have taste? Are you classy, educated, fashion conscious, or do you care about the image you project?  Your shoes speak volumes about your social standing and how fat (or lean) your pocket book is.

Trust me fellas, once you step out, Y.O.U.R  S.H.O.E.S.  T.A.L.K.  I spend more time and money on my shoes and bags than I do on clothes because your shoes are the final score card on who you are.
So my friends, what do your shoes say about you?

In future posts, I will be talking about different shoes types and style and how they represent your individual personality.

This navy dress is a 1950 Vintage look dress conveying the ‘Little Lost Girl Look’. added some handmade jewelry to the neckline and embroidered designs on the dress..
I love fitted tops like this dress as they show off my toned body to perfection. The dress is kind of short but how do you kiss the summer goodbye except with one or two dresses?

Oh my gosh! And those shoes! In case you haven’t guessed, they are Gianmarco Lorenzi’s signature high heels………….What a BLAST!

THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY, AND HAVE A BLAST
