Laura Benanti to replace Lauren Ambrose in ‘My Fair Lady’ on Broadway

Tony Award winner Laura Benanti will take over as Eliza Doolittle in Broadway’s “My Fair Woman,” changing the departing Lauren Ambrose. As reported solely by Deadline on Wednesday, Ambrose has been solid in Apple’s upcoming psychological thriller sequence from M. Evening Shyamalan and British TV author Tony Basgallop. Ambrose’s closing “My Fair Woman” efficiency shall be Sunday, Oct. 21.
