Welcome back again my beautiful people! I’m super happy and excited again now that I’m with you. Hehehe! I hope that by you reading and viewing this blog again, your happy moments and your day will both be enhanced!

A few weeks ago I birthed this new baby of mine in the form of my amazing blogging career, and with each passing day I keep growing and doing better. Seriously guys, I have never enjoyed doing any ‘work’ more!

This week, I had an amazing experience with a fellow blogger - women empowering one another, giving and taking from each other and simply learning how to stumble through the rough patches in order to achieve our desired goals! It’s always good to be around people that motivate you.

Hola!!! A big shout out to this week to success and to Joe Fresh Canada!

Yeeh! It feels really good to have found my niche so quickly. It hasn’t even been long since I launched my blog and I got my first Joe Fresh CN banner this week. I am blown away.

About my ‘look’, I am still all leafy print and flowers in this long, full sleeved, colorful, flowing maxi and loving it. Anything print and flowers for the summer will work. It is very stylish and speaks volumes with the deep V neck which reveals quite a bit of cleavage, I must say and absolutely not for the faint hearted! Hahaha! That was a bold one for me.
Anyway, when you show cleavage like this, you get some ‘cover’ with chunky jewelry which is exactly what I have done here with my double string necklace.

Have a nice weekend my wonderful KV readers and thank you so much for your time.
Sweet, sweet, sweet.

Oh yea! Oh yea!......... How exciting can the summer get?

Hello everyone and how was this absolutely glorious week for you?

Mine was pretty much normal, nothing extraordinary. I’m not quite used to being the

full time ‘football mom’ of three very active young men with schedules overflowing with

activities that keep me driving around from one city to the other trying to catch up on

one game or the other! But guess what? I love technology of the 21th Century

because I am able to work from my iPhone, or iPad while on the go. I know you

can certainly relate to that because we all have these very crazy schedules that

assume we are super humans!

So, florals and prints that have been in vogue since the 1930s are making a serious

come back.

I fell in love with this casually-pleated midi floral cotton skirt and simply had to own

it. The zipper detail ‘gat’ me going on this one with the unique and unusually

beautiful drop silver pull. I am wearing it in front just to showcase the detailing. The

luxuriantly meshed colors – grey (different shades of…), purple, white and black are

all in sync.

I have complimented it with this long sleeved ruffled silk shirt.

You know you can never go wrong with white especially in the summer. The

crispness of this snow white shirt makes a strong fashion statement and because white

reflects the heat of the sun, it feels very cool against the skin. Again, white shirts

are classics for all seasons and very harmonizing and I seldom pass an opportunity to

add one more to my closet. I have cool white, ghost white, smoky white, baby

powder white, snow white, old lace white, antique white and champagne white shirts!

In short, they are all white shirts! Hahaha!

Don’t you love my mid heeled (for me) grey shoes, and the matching clutch that

both compliment this outfit?

‘Drop’ the clutch and take your regular daytime purse for the office, and ‘drop’ the

day purse and take the clutch for an after work lunch or dinner date.

My jewelry is understated, to go with either the office or an evening outing.

What do you think of this outfit? Do you

Thank you for your time

“Give a girl, the right shoes, and she can conquer the world."

Hello and welcome back KV readers. Hasn’t it been a swell summer so far? I sincerely hope you’ve been having as good a time as me. It’s been a whirlwind of activities and l love every inch of this gloriously resplendent summer weather. There’s being relaxing cozy picnics, get-together and barbecues - a very promising start to the summer festivities. It’s been great so far! But that’s until I fell down the stairs at a friend’s party and twisted my ankle! I thank God though that it was no more serious than that and there were no broken bones. Think about it.  I was wearing 6 inch heels and it could have been a real disaster for me! Getting around the house these past few days has not been easy but my kids have been phenomenal, doing more than their fair share of housework.

My greatest motivation and inspiration to getting back on my feet and get out there to take these radiantly dazzling shots was you, how exciting. I also had an interview about bridging the gap to get to the next level with fabulous Host Bola Olutoryor idowu CEO of Raisingdbar talk show. To be aired in few weeks. please stay connected here for details

On the fashion scene, ‘color blocking’ is in and bold and bright colors are trending.  Any pair of opposing primary or secondary colors that complement or enhance each other can be worn together this season for that exact synergy needed to capture that richly sleek, luscious and resplendent summer look. Mmmh, you can tell I love the word ‘Resplendent!’
But a word of caution, no pun intended, – don’t make it too complicated as ‘color blocking’ isn’t for the faint hearted! My one rule of thumb with the accessorizing is – less is better!

One of the season’s trends in ‘color blocking’ is enhancing ‘Pink’ with ‘Green’ -
This ‘hot pink’ flowing chic skirt makes a ‘girlie girl’ fashion statement. It says you are not only intuitive and bold but also filled with empathy and sensitivity while unequivocally doubling down on your confidence within your girl skin! The color inspires hope, warmth and comfort and that sense that everything will be okay.
The strong bold emerald green of this long sleeved button down blouse on the other hand, inspires growth and nature. It exudes a calm and relaxing quality that’s very easy on the eyes. The serenading effects of both colors flow seamlessly with the understated jewelry to create an overall sense of serenity and poise, the perfect ‘agenda’ for any formal or semi-formal occasion.
Note how the eye shadow picks out the sparkle in the earrings, while the matching bracelets and necklace compliment the casual slick, compact purse without overwhelming the outfit. The contrast from the two-toned black and grey slip-ons is the perfect finish for this very polished and classy look.
Step out in this outfit with your note pad because you will need that to record the avalanche of ‘cat calls’ that will come your way.
Happy prowling my friends!

EFFORTLESS-TO  WEAR.

Hello My KV friends and I hope you had a great week! Welcome back to The KV
blog.
A big Shout Out to the first week of July. It looks like summer has finally arrived in
the Toronto area. I was really getting a bit worried we were not going to have a
warm enough July but I guess I couldn't be more wrong, thank goodness. I’m quite
happy to be wrong on this one. A little oxymoron there my friends!
Did you know that July is the month of the “bizarre and unique holidays?” How
about - July 3rd - Compliment your mirror day - mmmh? Shouldn’t it be the other
way round? Anyway, make sure to compliment your mirror for this absolutely stunning
face you see before you in the mirror. Also on July 3rd is Stay out of the sun day
- how come? We’ve been indoors all winter!  July 6th is International kissing day -
appreciate and share the kiss…mwah!  July 10th - Teddy bear picnic day - the kids
will love this day. Take your bear for a picnic kids, no kidding and no pun intended!

Lots of grown-ups keep their teddy bears too so take them to work and out to lunch
with you. July 12th - Different colored eyes day - celebrates diversity of eye color
and the unusual condition called heterochromia. July 15th - Cow appreciation day -
go out and give a cow a hug guys ….. And many more unusual holidays this month
of July.

Again, how was your week? I was so engrossed in pampering myself with massages,
exercise, detox and catching up on my beauty sleep that I didn’t notice the days fly
by. Last week was quite hectic with concluding arrangements for my youngest son’s
summer program and what have you. So this week on the other hand, was devoted
to taking care of me! Hahaha!

Things are literally heating up so be sure to protect your skin by keeping it well
hydrated. Your skin is simply thirsty for moisture so quench that thirst with a good
moisture therapy. For extra hydration I always use 2-in-1 organic body oil
from www.katiesbodyspize@yahoo.com  for that luscious and extra moisturized feel on my skin.
This daintily fragrance oil has the fruity, crisp, fresh, enchanting and whimsical whiff
of lavender which is absolutely great for summer relaxation.
The things I love about summer are walking bare feet around the house (great and
conducive particularly if you have adopted the holistic lifestyle), and long evenings
spent in the backyard and garden.  Don’t forget your sun-glasses, bug spray and
preferred sunscreen lotion anytime you’re outdoors.
One of the other great pleasures this time of the year is getting a nice pedicure, and
showing off well-groomed feet and skin. I guess many of you can relate to this.
There you go! Say yes to this. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

Since black is one of the colors we can confidently wear any time of the year, this
gorgeous, flowing maxi cotton dress with chest support for a perfect fit is a total turn
on and a very effortless-to-wear dress.  Notice how it hugs my chest while showing
off my natural curves? It is perfect for a day out shopping or visiting friends or just
relaxing at home entertaining friends and family. You can never have enough “black
things” in your closet because they are so versatile. Remember your “life saver little
black dress?” Hahaha. I bet you know exactly what I mean!
To compliment this black maxi, choose a pair of sandals (to show off that lovely
pedicure), or wear pumps to dress it up. Absolutely you can dress it up too! That’s
your choice.  I personally love to TURN DIME INTO DIVA so go for it, however you
wanna roll! Just wear it with your natural self-confidence and panache my friends.
Hope you enjoyed this outfit. It’s one of my favorites and I love it.

My goodness! Did I just write all that? Once I start writing about fashion I just don’t
notice how time flies! Enjoy the rest of your week while I go for picnic.

Ciao! and thanks for stopping by.
