Hello and welcome back my darlings. Are you around Toronto? Let me hear your shout out to
-still in summer weather- yeeh! This is unbelievable. We are still wearing shorts and summer dresses. Let’s hope winter will not make us pay for all this good weather.
I went to watch my oldest son play football in school this week. As you know I am a mother of three boys and a football mom as they all play. At the end of the victory game, my son introduced me to some of his team mates. They were so tickled and couldn’t believe I was old enough to be his mom. I was all dressed down in my skinny ripped jeans and a hat. I totally aced it, looking the part of the cool and trendy soccer mom. It was great fun!!
So this week I decided to talk shoes people. After my birthday post,(here) I received some personal messages wanting to know about my shoes. Well the truth of the matter is that I just love shoes (more than I love clothes perhaps) but I am still a bargain hunter. Typically, I go for what I like but at bargain prices. I usually don’t shop ‘New Arrivals’ and I target lots of off seasons goodies for the coming season.
We have a very small window of opportunity to make a first impression. Once people meet you, they assess your face, smile, grooming, shoes, the overall outfit before rounding back to the face.
Your shoes say a lot about you. Are you well groomed? Do you have taste? Are you classy, educated, fashion conscious, or do you care about the image you project? Your shoes speak volumes about your social standing and how fat (or lean) your pocket book is.
Trust me fellas, once you step out, Y.O.U.R S.H.O.E.S. T.A.L.K. I spend more time and money on my shoes and bags than I do on clothes because your shoes are the final score card on who you are.
So my friends, what do your shoes say about you?
In future posts, I will be talking about different shoes types and style and how they represent your individual personality.
This navy dress is a 1950 Vintage look dress conveying the ‘Little Lost Girl Look’. added some handmade jewelry to the neckline and embroidered designs on the dress..
I love fitted tops like this dress as they show off my toned body to perfection. The dress is kind of short but how do you kiss the summer goodbye except with one or two dresses?
Oh my gosh! And those shoes! In case you haven’t guessed, they are Gianmarco Lorenzi’s signature high heels………….What a BLAST!
THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY, AND HAVE A BLAST
