Tyler Perry

The New Orleans native (born Emmitt Perry, Jr.) started his profession within the Atlanta chitlin circuit writing, directing, and starring in performs centered across the fictional gun-wielding, good-hearted matriarch Mabel “Madea” Simmons. In 2005, Perry went on to write down, produce and star in his first movie, Diary of a Mad Black Lady (additionally that includes Madea) and gained BET Comedy Awards for excellent writing and appearing. He has since written, directed, starred in and/or produced dozens of tasks, starting from the TV sequence Tyler Perry’s Home of Payne to a 2010 movie adaptation of Ntozake Shange’s basic play For Coloured Ladies.
