Pedestrian suffers serious head injuries after hit and run with motorcycle
Toronto police are on the lookout for a suspect who they consider struck a pedestrian with a motorcycle and left him with serious head injuries Sunday night.
Police have been referred to as to Keele Road and Eglinton Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. and arrived on scene with paramedics.
Crews instantly started to supply medical consideration to the male pedestrian who was later taken to hospital.
“The pedestrian had been knocked fairly exhausting to the bottom,” Toronto police Const. David Hopkinson informed CBC Toronto. “We had indications that the pedestrian’s injuries have been fairly serious.”
The motorcycle, which police describe as being black with inexperienced rims, was believed to have been pushed by the suspect southbound on Keele Road.
Police say the suspect is believed to be a black male with a heavy construct, sporting a yellow helmet.
Roads have been closed within the space on account of the collision.
