‘Die Hard’ brings NYPD and LAPD together for Christmas

LOS ANGELES — The New York and Los Angeles police departments are poking some enjoyable at their perceived rivalry and wading right into a hotly contested debate: Is “Die Arduous” a Christmas film? It started when NYPD tweeted Monday that they’d been working with LAPD “to guard Christmas since Hans Gruber’s 1988 assault on Nakatomi Plaza” with the hashtag, #YesItsAChristmasMovie. The talk over whether or not the Bruce Willis blockbuster is a Christmas film has emerged in recent times. Set on Christmas Eve, the film follows NYPD Detective John McClane as he singlehandedly stops a gaggle of terrorists led by Gruber (Alan Rickman) in Los Angeles. LAPD tweeted again that NYPD will at all times be welcome to observe McClane “and come to the (higher) coast and have a celebration. Yippie Ki Yay & ho ho ho.” Share this: https://nypost.com/2018/12/25/die-hard-brings-nypd-and-lapd-together-for-christmas/ The post ‘Die Hard’ brings NYPD and LAPD together for Christmas appeared first on My style by Kartia.
