Beyhive got owned: Beyoncé’s new music leak was a hoax
The Beyhive was abuzz overnight with news of leaked new music from “Queen Carter.”
Turns out it was all a big Beyoncé hoax.
The two “new” albums — 10-tracks on each — dropped on Apple Music and Spotify: “Have Your Way” and “Back Up, Rewind.”
Considering that her fanbase is known for being diehard — one would think they would’ve noticed that all 20 tracks are old B-sides and unreleased songs with titles such as “Black Culture” and “Twerk.”
Alas, it took a while for fans to figure out the leaks were bogus — and they were swarming about it when the did. Beware leakers, the ‘Hive is not to be messed with.
Bey’s team has yet to address the fake out — but both albums were scrubbed from the streaming services by midnight.
